Ingredients

  • 6 eggs
  • 2 c. milk
  • 6 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
  • 2 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. salt

Method

  • Grease 2 popover pans.
  • Each pan holds six 5-ounce cups.
  • In a large bowl with mixer at low speed, beat eggs until frothy.
  • Beat in milk and butter.
  • At low speed, beat flour and salt into egg, milk and butter mixture.
  • Fill cups until half filled.
  • Bake for 35 minutes at 375°.
  • Make slit in each popover to let steam out. Bake 5 minutes more.
  • Remove popovers from pans immediately.
