Ingredients
- 20 small potatoes, cooked, peeled and sliced
- 1 small onion, minced
- 4 slices bacon, cubed and fried golden brown
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1 heaping Tbsp. flour
- 1/4 c. vinegar
- 2/3 c. water
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt or more to taste
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
Method
- Add onion to potatoes.
- Cube and fry bacon until golden brown. Remove bacon from pan.
- To bacon fat, add butter and flour.
- Stir and cook and add vinegar, water, sugar, salt and pepper.
- Let come to a boil and pour over potatoes.
- Add bacon cubes.
- Serves about 6 people.
