Ingredients
- 1 c. pecans, chopped
- 1 c. flaked coconut
- 1 box German chocolate cake mix
- 1 stick butter
- 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
- 1 box powdered sugar
Method
- Grease and line cake pan with wax paper.
- Sprinkle nuts and coconut
- on bottom.
- Mix cake mix according to directions on box. Spread
- in
- pan
- over
- nuts
- and coconut.
- Next, melt butter
- and cream cheese over low heat, stirring continuously until smooth. Next, fold in powdered sugar a little at a time until blended. Pour
- mixture evenly over cake mix and bake at 350° for
- 45 minutes or until done.
- Let cool in pan and dump it out bottom side up on tray.
