Ingredients

  • 1 c. pecans, chopped
  • 1 c. flaked coconut
  • 1 box German chocolate cake mix
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
  • 1 box powdered sugar

Method

  • Grease and line cake pan with wax paper.
  • Sprinkle nuts and coconut
  • on bottom.
  • Mix cake mix according to directions on box. Spread
  • in
  • pan
  • over
  • nuts
  • and coconut.
  • Next, melt butter
  • and cream cheese over low heat, stirring continuously until smooth. Next, fold in powdered sugar a little at a time until blended. Pour
  • mixture evenly over cake mix and bake at 350° for
  • 45 minutes or until done.
  • Let cool in pan and dump it out bottom side up on tray.
