Ingredients
- 2/3 c. butter
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. cocoa
- 2/3 c. sauerkraut, chopped and drained
- 2 1/4 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 c. beer
Method
- Cream butter and sugar.
- Beat in eggs and vanilla.
- Sift dry ingredients.
- Add alternately to egg mixture.
- Stir in kraut. Bake at 350° for 40 minutes.
