Ingredients

  • 1/2 cups Olive Oil
  • 10 cloves Garlic
  • 3 Tablespoons Chopped Fresh Thyme
  • 3 Tablespoons Dijon Mustard
  • 4 whole Steaks (your Preference)
  • 1/2 teaspoons Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoons Pepper
  • 2 cups Fresh Grated Parmesan Cheese

Method

  • Place olive oil in a small preheated saute pan over medium high heat.
  • Add garlic and pan roast until soft, about 5 -10 minutes.
  • Drain and let cool.
  • Add garlic to a small bowl and mash with a fork.
  • Add thyme and mustard and mix well, making a paste.
  • Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
  • Season steaks with salt and pepper and lightly drizzle with olive oil on both sides.
  • Cook steaks on a hot grill for 4 -5 minutes each side (you want them undercooked because they will finish in the oven).
  • Remove from grill and place on a baking sheet.
  • Cover each steak generously with the garlic paste.
  • Top with a very generous amount of parmesan cheese.
  • Place in oven and bake 6-8 minutes, until cheese is melted and crusty.
