Ingredients

  • 1 pack Oysters
  • 4 tbsp Flour
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • 1 Butter
  • 2 1/2 tsp Grated garlic
  • 1 dash Salt and pepper
  • 1/2 tbsp Salt (to rinse the oysters)

Method

  • Sprinkle the salt on the oysters, and rinse well under running water to wash off any dirt.
  • Pat dry, and coat evenly with flour.
  • Heat the oil, butter, and garlic in the frying pan.
  • After the butter melts, align the oysters on the pan.
  • Take care not to poke the oysters too much or the coating will come off.
  • Sprinkle some salt and pepper as you pan-fry the oysters for 2-3 minutes on both sides over medium heat.
  • Dish them up after they've become crispy on the outside, and enjoy!
  • These oysters are great with sauteed spinach leaves!
