Ingredients
- squirrel
- rabbit
- grouse
- 3 stalks celery, chopped
- 1 large onion, diced
- 3 red potatoes, diced
- carrots
- salt and pepper
- garlic powder
- 1 or 2 bay leaves
- 2 tsp. thyme
Method
- In a large stock pot, put in game (it doesn't matter how much of what you have, I find that about 3 or 4 pounds of meat is good). Fill pot 3/4 full with cold water, add the seasoning.
- Bring to a boil 1/2 hour.
- Add onion, celery, carrots and potatoes and simmer about 2 to 3 hours.
- Pull meat from pot and debone.
- Add meat to pot and boil; add pot pie bows or make your own dough and add to pot.
- When noodles are done, serve.
