Ingredients

  • 1 lb. (450 g) pork breakfast sausage links, casings removed, crumbled
  • 1/2 cup each chopped green peppers and yellow onions King Sooper's 1 lb For $0.99 thru 02/09
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 can (14 fl oz/398 mL) Heinz Original Beans in Tomato Sauce
  • 1 can (19 fl oz/540 mL) chili-style diced tomatoes, drained
  • 1 cup Bull's-Eye Bold Original Barbecue Sauce
  • 60 g Velveeta Process Cheese Product, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 3 green onions, sliced

Method

  • Brown sausage in large skillet; drain.
  • Return sausage to skillet.
  • Add peppers, yellow onions and garlic; cook and stir 3 min.
  • or until softened.
  • Stir in next 4 ingredients; cook on medium-low heat 5 to 10 min.
  • or until Velveeta is completely melted and dip is heated through, stirring occasionally.
  • Spoon into serving dish.
  • Top with sour cream and green onions.
