Ingredients

  • 3 lb. ground beef
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 c. Italian bread crumbs
  • 2 dashes of Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1/8 c. parsley flakes
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 large cans tomato sauce
  • potatoes, carrots and onions, cut in chunks

Method

  • Mix all ingredients, except tomato sauce and potatoes, carrot and onion chunks. Shape into meat loaf. Use a roasting pan with a lid. Place meat loaf in center of pan. Place potatoes, carrots and onion chunks around meat loaf. Pour tomato sauce over all. Bake at 400° for 30 minutes; reduce heat to 350° and bake until carrots are done.
