- 3 lb. ground beef
- 1 egg
- 1/2 c. Italian bread crumbs
- 2 dashes of Worcestershire sauce
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1/8 c. parsley flakes
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 large cans tomato sauce
- potatoes, carrots and onions, cut in chunks
Method
- Mix all ingredients, except tomato sauce and potatoes, carrot and onion chunks. Shape into meat loaf. Use a roasting pan with a lid. Place meat loaf in center of pan. Place potatoes, carrots and onion chunks around meat loaf. Pour tomato sauce over all. Bake at 400° for 30 minutes; reduce heat to 350° and bake until carrots are done.
