- 1 pie crust, unbaked
- 4 oz. sweet cooking chocolate
- 2 oz. unsweetened chocolate *
- 1 can (14 oz.) sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 cup hot water
- 2 eggs, well beaten
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1-1/4 cup pecan halves,
- pieces
- 1/4 cup margarine
- butter
Method
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- In saucepan over low heat, melt chocolate with butter.
- Stir in condensed milk and hot water.
- Remove from heat; stir in remaining ingredients.
- Pour into prepared pie crust.
- Bake 40 to 45 minutes or until center is set.
- Cool slightly.
- Serve warm or chilled.
- Garnish with whipped cream or ice cream, if desired.
- Refrigerate left overs.
