Ingredients

  • 2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 c. plain flour
  • 1 (14 oz.) bag Hershey's chocolate Kisses
  • 1 tsp. Crisco shortening
  • 1/4 c. margarine
  • 1 c. Eagle Brand milk
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 oz. white chocolate

Method

  • In a saucepan combine chocolate chips and margarine.
  • Stir over low heat until chips are dissolved.
  • Add milk and vanilla; mix well.
  • In a medium bowl combine flour, nuts and chocolate mixture. Mix well.
  • Shape 1 teaspoon of mixture around unwrapped candy Kisses, covering the Kiss completely.
  • Place on ungreased cookie sheet 1 inch apart.
  • Bake at 350° for 6 to 8 minutes.
  • Do not overbake.
  • Remove and cool.
