Ingredients
- 4 1/2 c. sugar
- 3 small pkg. chocolate chips
- 1/2 lb. butter
- 1 large can evaporated milk
- 3 c. nuts
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla
Method
- Mix chips, vanilla and butter in a large bowl and set aside. Heat sugar and milk in a double boiler and boil until that can't be stirred down.
- Boil 6 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Pour boiling mixture over chips, vanilla and butter.
- Mix well and pour into a 9 x 13-inch buttered cake pan.
- Cut into squares when set.
