Ingredients
- 4 sq. chocolate
- 1 c. milk
- 4 egg yolks, beaten
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 c. all-purpose flour, sifted
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 egg whites, beaten
Method
- Cook chocolate and milk together until thick and smooth; let completely cool.
- Then add beaten egg yolks, sugar, flour, baking powder, salt and vanilla.
- Beat well after each addition.
- Fold into the stiffly beaten egg whites.
- Bake in a loaf pan 1 hour at 350°.
- Frost if desired.
