Ingredients
- 1 lb. pecan halves
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 egg white
- 1 tsp. cold water
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp. cloves, ground
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. butter
Method
- Heat oven to 225°.
- Put butter on jelly roll pan and let melt. In small bowl, mix sugar and spices.
- In larger bowl, beat egg white and water until frothy.
- Add nuts and toss until coated well.
- Add sugar/spice mixture and toss again.
- Spread out on jelly roll pan and bake 1 hour, turning every 15 minutes.
