Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine, melted
- 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/3 c. cocoa
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)
- ice cream
- hot fudge sauce
Method
- Beat eggs in a small mixing bowl; blend in sugar and melted butter or margarine.
- Combine flour, cocoa and salt; add to butter mixture.
- Stir in vanilla and nuts.
- Pour into lightly greased 8-inch pie plate.
- Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes or until almost set (pie will not test done).
- Cool.
- Cut into wedges. Serve topped with ice cream and hot fudge sauce.
- Makes 6 to 8 servings.
