Ingredients
- 2 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
- 1 c. mayonnaise or salad dressing
- 1 (30 oz.) can fruit cocktail, well drained (equal to 3 1/2 c.)
- 2 1/2 c. tiny marshmallows
- 1/2 c. drained maraschino cherries, quartered
- 1 c. whipping cream
- lettuce
Method
- In large mixing bowl, combine cheese and mayonnaise or salad dressing; beat with electric mixer until well blended.
- Stir in the drained fruit cocktail, marshmallows and maraschino cherries. In small mixing bowl, whip the chilled cream until soft peaks form.
- Fold the whipped cream into the fruit mixture.
- Tint mixture with maraschino cherry juice, if desired.
- Pour into a 12 x 7 1/2-inch dish.
- Cover and freeze until firm.
