Ingredients
- 2 qt. thinly sliced cukes (unpeeled)
- 1 large onion, diced
- 2 Tbsp. salt
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. vinegar
Method
- Place cukes, onion and salt in a large bowl; cover with cold water.
- Let stand 2 hours and drain.
- Mix sugar with vinegar; pour over cukes.
- Mix thoroughly.
- Put into pint freezer containers and leave 1/4-inch space at top.
- Freeze.
