Ingredients

  • 12 c. corn
  • 1 1/2 c. cold water
  • 2 sticks butter or margarine

Method

  • Cut raw corn off the cob.
  • Measure and put in a heavy pot; add butter and water.
  • Start heating on low until butter melts, then increase heat and bring to a slow boil.
  • Boil 15 minutes. Set off heat and cool by setting pot in ice water or overnight in refrigerator.
  • When corn is cold, fill freezer boxes and freeze. No salt!
