Ingredients
- recipe on pkg.
- pinch of salt
- sugar to taste (on sweet side)
- grated rind of 1 lemon
- pinch of nutmeg
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
Method
- Follow directions on package.
- To simmering Cream of Wheat add the salt, sugar, grated lemon rind, nutmeg and vanilla.
- In greased flat pan, pour cooked Cream of Wheat to 1 inch level. Allow to harden.
- When completely cooled, cut into 2 1/2 x 1 1/2-inch strips.
- Roll in bread crumbs, then fry in deep fat until brown.
