Ingredients
- 5 peaches, sliced
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 2 tsp. butter
- almond flavoring (if desired)
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
- salt
Method
- Put sugar and lemon juice on peaches.
- Let set for 1 hour. Drain, saving juice to make 1 cup (add a little water if necessary).
- Add cornstarch and cook until thick.
- Add butter and salt; cool.
- Mix in peaches.
- Put in baked pie shell and chill.
