Ingredients
- 4 pounds fresh green peas
- 1/4 cup butter or margarine, softened
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
Method
- Shell and wash peas. Place in medium saucepan, and add boiling water to cover. Cover, and cook over medium heat 10 to 12 minutes or until peas are tender.
- Add butter, lemon juice, salt, and pepper to peas, stirring well.
