Ingredients
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 c. cooking oil
- juice of 1/2 lemon
- 3 c. flour
- chopped pecans (if desired)
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 well beaten eggs
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 3 c. chopped apples
Method
- Mix sugar, oil, juice, vanilla and eggs. Beat well. Add flour, soda, salt, cinnamon and beat again. Fold in apples.
- Do not beat after apples are added. Bake in preheated oven 1 1/2 hours at 325°. Greasing and lightly flouring the Bundt pan will make a prettier cake.
