- 4 ripe bananas
- 2 Tbsp. unsalted butter
- 3 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice (1 lemon)
- 1 Tbsp. lemon zest
- 1 Tbsp. orange marmalade
- 1 Tbsp. dark rum
- vanilla ice cream
- whipped cream (optional)
Method
- Saute halved bananas in butter.
- Combine remaining ingredients; add to saucepan.
- Saute 3 to 5 minutes.
- Put 1 scoop of good vanilla ice cream on dish.
- Place bananas next to ice cream; pour sauce over ice cream and bananas.
- Garnish with whipped cream, if desired.
- Enjoy!
