Ingredients

  • 4 ripe bananas
  • 2 Tbsp. unsalted butter
  • 3 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice (1 lemon)
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon zest
  • 1 Tbsp. orange marmalade
  • 1 Tbsp. dark rum
  • vanilla ice cream
  • whipped cream (optional)

Method

  • Saute halved bananas in butter.
  • Combine remaining ingredients; add to saucepan.
  • Saute 3 to 5 minutes.
  • Put 1 scoop of good vanilla ice cream on dish.
  • Place bananas next to ice cream; pour sauce over ice cream and bananas.
  • Garnish with whipped cream, if desired.
  • Enjoy!
