Ingredients
- butter or margarine
- 1 1/2 onions, in rings
- 3 (10 1/2 oz.) cans beef broth
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- grated Parmesan cheese
- sliced Provolone cheese
- bread cubes
Method
- Saute onion rings in butter until soft and transparent.
- Pour in beef broth and Worcestershire sauce.
- Simmer for 15 to 20 minutes.
- Remove from heat.
- In individual soup bowls, add bread cubes and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
- Pour hot soup on top of cubes and Parmesan cheese.
- Top with Provolone cheese and cover to allow Provolone cheese to melt.
