Ingredients
- 3 c. crushed strawberries
- 5 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. water
- 1 pkg. Sure-Jell
Method
- Combine strawberries and sugar.
- Let stand 20 minutes.
- Stir occasionally.
- Combine water and pectin.
- Bring to a boil.
- Boil 1 minute, stirring constantly.
- Add pectin mixture to fruit and stir 3 minutes.
- Pour into jars or freezer containers, leaving 1-inch headspace.
- Cover with lids.
- Let stand at room temperature for 24 hours.
- Freeze.
- Yield:
- 6 cups.
