Ingredients
- 1 medium cabbage, chopped
- 1 green pepper, chopped fine
- 1 carrot, grated
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 c. vinegar
- 1/4 c. water
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. celery seed
- 1 tsp. mustard seed
Method
- Add salt to cabbage; let stand 1 hour and squeeze out juice. Add carrot and pepper.
- While cabbage is standing, make a syrup of vinegar, water, sugar, celery seed and mustard seed.
- Let stand until lukewarm.
- Pour over cabbage mixture; place in container and freeze.
