Ingredients

  • 1 medium cabbage head
  • 1 stick celery
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. vinegar
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 tsp. celery seed
  • 1 tsp. mustard seed

Method

  • Mix cabbage, celery, pepper and salt.
  • Cover it with water and soak for 1 hour, then drain.
  • Mix in another bowl with sugar, vinegar, water, celery seed and mustard seed.
  • Put in cooker and simmer for 15 minutes.
  • Cool it and pour it over cabbage mix.
  • Mix it up good.
  • Put in freezer cups.
  • Store in refrigerator overnight, then you freeze it.
  • Thaw and eat.
