- 1 3/4 c. quick cooking oatmeal
- 1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 c. butter, softened
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. packed brown sugar
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 c. raisins
- 3/4 c. chopped pecans
- 1/3 c. molasses
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
Method
- Cream butter and sugars; beat in eggs, molasses and vanilla. Mix remaining ingredients together except raisins and nuts.
- Stir to blend.
- Add raisins and nuts and drop by teaspoonfuls onto baking sheet.
- Bake in preheated 350° oven for 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
- These cookies stay soft.
