Ingredients
- 2 egg whites
- 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
- dash of salt
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. chocolate chips (sweet or semi sweet)
- 1 c. chopped nuts
Method
- Beat egg whites until stiff, adding cream of tartar, salt, sugar and vanilla.
- While beating, fold in chocolate chips and nuts.
- Spoon small mounds of mix onto wax paper lined cookie sheet.
- Preheat oven and turn off heat.
- Let cookies stay in oven overnight.
- Do not open oven door until morning.
