Ingredients
- 1 c. self-rising flour
- 1 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. milk
- 1 stick butter or margarine
- 1 1/2 c. fruit or fruit pie filling
Method
- Mix flour, sugar and milk in medium size mixing bowl, stirring only enough to thoroughly mix ingredients.
- Pour mixture into a deep 9-inch glass pie dish.
- Pour (do not stir in) melted butter or margarine evenly over the top of the mixture.
- Add fruit (without liquids) or pie filling, distributing it evenly over the top.
- Do not stir in fruit.
- At this point, you have 3 layers made up of the flour, sugar and milk mixture, the melted butter and the fruit.
