Ingredients
- 1 2/3 tablespoons yeast
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 1/4 cups warm water
- 4 cups flour
- olive oil
- 1 package feta diced
- 1 red onion medium sized chunks
- 3 sprigs rosemary
Method
- In mixer bowl, mix with a fork the yeast, salt, sugar, and half of the water.
- Add the flour and knead for 7 to 9 minutes to get a good soft dough. Add more water if needed.
- Cover with plastic wrap, and let rise for 30 minutes, or until it doubles in size.
- Spread the dough on a floured surface into a rectangle 2 1/2 centimeters thick. Place on a baking sheet line with parchment paper.
- Pour 2/3 tablespoon of olive oil on the dough, and spread it with the back of the spoon.
- Sprinkle the feta cheese, onion and rosemary on top of the dough. Gentle press the toppings into the dough.
- Let double in volume.
- Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius and bake for about 25 minutes.
- Serve warm.
