Ingredients
- Fish 1 lb
- Onions 2 (1 chopped)
- Green chillies 6
- Tomatoes 1 chopped
- Cinnamon 1 medium size
- Cloves 1 piece
- Coriander powder 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
- Salt 1 tbsp
Method
- 1 Cut the fish into small pieces. Grind the first four ingredients
- 2 In a pan heat oil and season with cinnamon and clove
- 3 Add the onion and tomato and fry just a little bit(do not let it brown)
- 4 Add the ground ingredients and fry well
- 5 Add 1 cup water, close and let it boil for 6 to 7 mts
- 6 Now add the fish pieces and let it cook on medium and heat for another 5 minutes
- 7 Remove from the heat and here you can add 1/4 cup coconut milk and a few drops of fresh lemon juice, sprinkle cilantro and serve hot
