Ingredients

  • 2 lb. schrod or flounder
  • flour
  • salt, pepper and paprika
  • 1 c. sour cream, more if needed
  • 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
  • 1 can mushrooms (stems and pieces), drained
  • bread crumbs
  • butter or margarine

Method

  • Cut fish into good size pieces.
  • Dip each piece into mixture of flour, salt, pepper and paprika.
  • Place fish into buttered baking dish.
  • In small bowl mix sour cream, Parmesan cheese and mushrooms.
  • Spread mixture over fish.
  • Sprinkle with bread crumbs and dot with butter.
  • Bake at 400° for 20 to 30 minutes.
