Ingredients
- 24 melba toasts
- 2 sticks salted butter
- one jar of fig jam (about 1 cup)
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 jalapeno pepper seeded and finely minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger
Method
- Place melba toasts in baking pan
- Heat and stir remaining ingredients until beginning to boil.
- Pour liquid on toasts and bake at 300 degrees for one hour or until appearing carmelized. Remove when cooled, separate, and store on waxed paper
