Ingredients
- 8 ounce Grated Gruyere cheese
- 2 x Large eggs
- 2 1/2 fl ounce Lowfat milk
- 1 tsp Kirsch Fat for frying
- 6 slc bread
Method
- Mix grated cheese with the egg yolks, lowfat milk and Kirsch.
- Mix in beaten egg whites, and spread mix on bread.
- Heat fat in a large frying pan and place bread, cheese side down, in warm fat.
- When slices become golden, turn and fry briefly on the other side.
