Ingredients
- 10 c. mashed figs (I peel off the stem ends)
- 6 c. sugar
- juice of 1 lemon (no rind)
Method
- Put in enamel roaster.
- Mix with wooden spoon.
- Bake in 350° oven for 1 1/2 hours.
- Stir every 30 minutes with wooden spoon. Do not cover the roaster.
