Ingredients

  • 1 cup of soft butter
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 16 ounces fettuccine
  • 12 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 12 cup romano cheese, grated
  • 12 cup whipping cream
  • pepper and chopped parsley

Method

  • Combine soft butter and minced garlic.
  • Put into large saucepan and set aside.
  • Boil pasta in salted water until al dente.
  • Drain and pour into soft butter and minced garlic.
  • Toss well to combine.
  • Off stove, add cheeses and toss again.
  • Return to very low heat, add cream, and stir constantly until very hot.
  • Pour into serving plates and sprinkle with cracked pepper, additional cheese to taste, and chopped parsley.
  • Serve at once.
