Ingredients
- 1 pkg. extra-long fettuccine
- 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- 2/3 c. light cream or sour cream (substituted)
- 1/4 lb. sweet butter
- 1 egg yolk
Method
- Cook noodles according to directions on box.
- While noodles are cooking, beat egg yolk and add to cream.
- Melt butter, place drained hot noodles in warm serving bowl or platter.
- Pour egg and cream mixture, melted butter and 1/2 of the Parmesan cheese over noodles.
- Toss noodles until well blended adding remaining cheese gradually while tossing.
- Serve immediately.
