Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. extra-long fettuccine
  • 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2/3 c. light cream or sour cream (substituted)
  • 1/4 lb. sweet butter
  • 1 egg yolk

Method

  • Cook noodles according to directions on box.
  • While noodles are cooking, beat egg yolk and add to cream.
  • Melt butter, place drained hot noodles in warm serving bowl or platter.
  • Pour egg and cream mixture, melted butter and 1/2 of the Parmesan cheese over noodles.
  • Toss noodles until well blended adding remaining cheese gradually while tossing.
  • Serve immediately.
