Ingredients
- 1 medium onion
- 1 medium green pepper
- 1/2 lb bacon
- 1/4th c. flour
- 2 c. chicken broth
- 2 c. lowfat milk
- 1 tsp. dry mustard
- 1 tsp. Frank's Red Warm
- coarse black pepper
- 1/2 of a large brick Velvetta cheese
Method
- Using scissors, cut semi-frzn bacon into small pcs.
- Brown till crispy.
- Remove with a slotted spoon onto paper towel.
- Cook onion and green pepper in bacon grease untill crispy tender.
- Add in flour and cook for 1 minute.
- Slowly pour in chicken broth, lowfat milk and remaining ingredients.
- Simmer on low.
- Serve with Crusty Bread.
- Fresh uncooked broccoli pcs may be added, if you like.
