Ingredients

  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 medium green pepper
  • 1/2 lb bacon
  • 1/4th c. flour
  • 2 c. chicken broth
  • 2 c. lowfat milk
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 tsp. Frank's Red Warm
  • coarse black pepper
  • 1/2 of a large brick Velvetta cheese

Method

  • Using scissors, cut semi-frzn bacon into small pcs.
  • Brown till crispy.
  • Remove with a slotted spoon onto paper towel.
  • Cook onion and green pepper in bacon grease untill crispy tender.
  • Add in flour and cook for 1 minute.
  • Slowly pour in chicken broth, lowfat milk and remaining ingredients.
  • Simmer on low.
  • Serve with Crusty Bread.
  • Fresh uncooked broccoli pcs may be added, if you like.
