Ingredients

  • 1 c. margarine
  • 3/4 c. light brown sugar
  • 3/4 c. granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. water
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 1/4 c. sifted flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces

Method

  • Beat softened margarine, brown and white sugars, vanilla, water and eggs in a large bowl with electric mixer until creamy and thoroughly blended.
  • Preheat oven to moderate 375°.
  • By hand, stir in flour, baking soda and salt until well mixed.
  • Stir in chocolate pieces.
