Ingredients
- 4 oz. fine noodles
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped (about 1/2 c.)
- 2 c. sliced celery
- 1/2 c. catsup
- 1 (2 1/2 oz.) jar sliced mushrooms
- 1 (14 1/2 oz.) can tomatoes
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
Method
- Cook noodles as directed on box, except use half the amount of water and salt.
- While noodles cook, cook and stir ground beef and onion in large skillet until meat is brown and onion is tender. Drain off fat.
- Stir in drained noodles, celery, catsup, mushrooms (with liquid), tomatoes, salt and pepper.
- Cover; simmer for 30 to 45 minutes.
