Ingredients

  • 4 oz. fine noodles
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped (about 1/2 c.)
  • 2 c. sliced celery
  • 1/2 c. catsup
  • 1 (2 1/2 oz.) jar sliced mushrooms
  • 1 (14 1/2 oz.) can tomatoes
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper

Method

  • Cook noodles as directed on box, except use half the amount of water and salt.
  • While noodles cook, cook and stir ground beef and onion in large skillet until meat is brown and onion is tender. Drain off fat.
  • Stir in drained noodles, celery, catsup, mushrooms (with liquid), tomatoes, salt and pepper.
  • Cover; simmer for 30 to 45 minutes.
