Ingredients
- 1 lb. butter
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 large Hershey bar
- 2 c. walnuts, chopped
Method
- Put 1 cup nuts on jelly roll pan.
- In saucepan (use a heavy bottom pan to cook in).
- Boil butter and sugar until the snap stage on candy thermometer, stirring constantly.
- Pour over nuts.
- Cool in refrigerator until hard.
- Melt chocolate in double boiler. Spread over toffee.
- Put rest of nuts on top of chocolate while still hot.
- Cool.
- Break apart.
