Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 2 cans tomato sauce
  • 4 tsp. chili powder
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • Parmesan cheese
  • 1 can ripe pitted olives, sliced
  • 3 tsp. cornstarch
  • American or Longhorn cheese

Method

  • Brown meat.
  • Add onions and cook until tender.
  • Add garlic, tomato sauce and enough water to make about 2 quarts sauce. Simmer for at least an hour.
  • Strain the meat from sauce.
  • Make a gravy of the sauce with the cornstarch, not real thick.
  • Add more water if too thick.
