Ingredients
- 2 lb. ground beef
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, chopped
- 2 cans tomato sauce
- 4 tsp. chili powder
- salt and pepper to taste
- Parmesan cheese
- 1 can ripe pitted olives, sliced
- 3 tsp. cornstarch
- American or Longhorn cheese
Method
- Brown meat.
- Add onions and cook until tender.
- Add garlic, tomato sauce and enough water to make about 2 quarts sauce. Simmer for at least an hour.
- Strain the meat from sauce.
- Make a gravy of the sauce with the cornstarch, not real thick.
- Add more water if too thick.
