Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 c. flour
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice
  • 2 sticks butter
  • 2 extra large eggs (room temperature)
  • 1 (8 oz.) carton yogurt (any flavor, raspberry, peach, etc.)

Method

  • Preheat oven to 325°.
  • Combine all ingredients in bowl.
  • Beat on medium speed until smooth, about 3 minutes.
  • Pour into greased and floured Bundt pan.
  • Bake 1 hour and 10 minutes.
  • Cake should look dark brown and crusty.
  • Let stand in pan 15 minutes.
  • Remove. Let cool.
  • Sprinkle with lots of powdered sugar.
