Ingredients
- hamburger patties
- 1 can green chili (Anaheim) peppers
- sliced Monterey Jack or Swiss cheese
- onion slices, sauteed
Method
- Grill (or fry) hamburgers to desired doneness, flattening out a little while cooking.
- Drain chilies.
- Place 1 or 2 chilies on burger.
- Also place a few onions and top with a slice of cheese. Lower grill, cover and grill until cheese melts, or put a lid on the skillet.
- Transfer to buns.
- Good with mayonnaise or brown mustard.
