Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 12 cup whole wheat flour
  • 12 cup cornmeal
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 14 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon active dry yeast
  • 34 cup milk
  • 34 cup plain yogurt
  • 12 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 34 cup cooked oatmeal
  • 34 cup berries (optional)

Method

  • Mix together dry ingredients.
  • In another bowl, mix milk, yogurt, vanilla, and oil.
  • Put the 2 bowls together, and stir just enough to moisten.
  • Stir in cooked oatmeal.
  • Fold in berries (if desired).

  • Cook on a medium-high griddle, with butter.
