Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon tartar sauce
  • 1 dash garlic powder
  • 1 dash pepper
  • 1 dash salt (optional)
  • melba toast (or 1 slice of white bread)

Method

  • Heat oil on pan.
  • Beat egg or if you are feeling lazy like me, break an egg over a pan and scramble it with a spatula, confining it to a small area.
  • Add 1 tsp of tartar sauce and garlic powder to the pan and mix briskly (i prefer my egg slightly runny) before sliding the omelet over the toast.
  • Add a dash of pepper to taste.
  • Add a sprinkle of salt to taste if you so prefer, but it's actually not necessary.
  • Ta-dah!
