Ingredients
- 6 eggs
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 pt. milk
- 1 pt. cream
- 1 pt. bourbon
Method
- Beat separately egg yolks and whites.
- Add 1/4 cup sugar to yolks while beating.
- Add 1/4 cup sugar to whites after beating them very stiffly.
- Mix whites with yolks.
- Stir in cream, milk and then bourbon.
- Stir thoroughly.
- Serve very cold.
- Sprinkle a tiny amount of nutmeg on top of each serving.
- Yields 5 pints.
