Ingredients

  • 12 eggs
  • 2 c. milk
  • 2 Tbsp. mustard
  • 6 slices bread
  • 4 c. cheese (2 c. Cheddar and 2 c. American)
  • 1 lb. bulk sausage

Method

  • Grease a 9 x 13-inch pan.
  • Pan-fry sausage and drain.
  • Beat eggs, milk and mustard together.
  • Pour egg mixture over bread. Add sausage and grated cheese.
  • Let set for 30 minutes.
  • Press sausage and cheese into liquid.
  • Cover and refrigerate.
  • Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
  • You may also add onions, chopped ham, mushrooms and green peppers.
