Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. dry yeast
  • 1 c. warm milk (105~ to 115~)
  • 3/4 c. honey
  • 2 Tbsp. oil
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 4 to 4 1/2 c. flour
  • egg wash (1 egg beaten with 1 Tbsp. oil)

Method

  • Dissolve yeast in warm milk.
  • Stir in honey, oil, eggs and 3 3/4 cups flour.
  • Turn onto floured board.
  • Knead dough about 5 minutes, adding flour until smooth and elastic.
  • Coat large bowl with oil.
  • Place dough in bowl, turning to coat with oil on all sides.
  • Cover; let rise until doubled.
